I’m pleased to announce that a new story of mine called “Salvage” is in the latest issue of Electric Spec.
“Salvage” is something new for me – an attempt to write a more traditional science fiction story with actual plot (!) and action (!!) while still keeping it weird.
It’s about prison labor and uneasy solidarities. I’m thrilled that Electric Spec is taking a chance on it, and it was a pleasure to work with their editorial team. Later this week, I’ll also be sharing some author notes for their blog.
